St Mary the Virgin

Church End (off Hollicks Lane) Kensworth Dunstable
http://www.parishlink.org.uk

St Mary's is a Church of England parish church, located in the Bedfordshire village of Kensworth. It was mainly built in the early 1100's and is an important spiritual centre and meeting place for the community.

We have a thriving Sunday School and Messy Church, and a monthly First Steps service for babies, toddlers and their parents or carers. Other annual services reflect our rural roots, including May Day, Rogation (held at local farms) and Harvest Festival. A recent development at St Mary's is a form of liturgy called Music and Word where organ music is given a central prominence and readings taken from the Bible and contemporary poetry.

St Mary's stands in the broadest tradition of the Anglican church - we welcome all to all services, young and old, enquirers and regular worshippers. We believe that all should feel at home in God's all-encompassing love.

You are most welcome to join us at St Mary's Kensworth.

Sometimes the form of service changes - it's always worth checking the website www.parishlink.org.uk which we try to keep updated.
